Hey guys,

I... I could say we but I'm pretty much paying for everything so I'll say I... I was wondering what the cost of:

6-8 breeding pairs

16 young birds

16 old birds

How much would it cost to feed, race, medicate (only the important stuff like wormers, and canker, etc.) that many birds a year?

Obviously its different for everyone depending on where you live and what you use and stuff. But I thought it would be nice for even newer people that are considering racing pigeons can know how much it costs to own a bird.

Thanks,
Shokri

P.S. If you can give me two answers one to say how much it will cost for the number of birds that I have and secondly for how much it costs to own ONE bird throughout the year for other members that are wondering that.

Hi all,
I have 8 adult white pigeons, plus 1 new baby coming up. I spend roughly $80 per month,
on food, grit, and misc. coop supplies. That works out to $960.00 per year. It doesn't include any vetting. So far my birds have been very healthy and happy!
