At 2-3 months they should already be flying around your neighborhood. Then at 3-4 months they should start routing/tripping for an hour or two.
maybe you need a trainer pigeon that they will follow
I think you are Feeding to Much. Dave
I'm a noob
I bought 12 young birds a month ago
5 of them have stopped squeaking and are grunting, I have been tossing them for a week now as singles. I'm up to 5 miles and they have trapped in fine, the squeakers don't fly yet, around the loft only so far
I guess i'm way behind... I do let two of my old birds fly when I let the youngster out. I don't think I'm overfeeding them, they're moulting so is this a issue?

I can't wait until I get as far as you....
I only feed 1/8 cup food per bird
Feeding a commercial pigeon mix with some Red Barron energy mixed in
These birds normally eat all their feed in about 20 minuets.
The 5 I have flying are very stocky and muscular but the squeakers are skinny feeling.
When I loft fly the birds they still don't flock, they just buzz around in chaos.
