Youngster fall from nest

So, found the young bird on the ground below it's nest. It's a crappy nest site prone to babies falling. Im thinking that rather than doing a soft release, it will be easier to look after the bird just long enough so that it can fly to and from the nest, so falling won't be an issue. And just put him back up in the nest with his parents. So they can show him how to find food and what not. Probably even continue to crop feed him for a bit too. It's just easier for me than to raise him and do a soft release. Kinda got my hands full with my other pigeons. Good idea?

Yes always better to be raised by the parents.
If close to your home, then it will be easier to monitor him and make sure he is safe at night.

Yeah I thought so, the only problem is, I have no idea where I can get a ladder to put him back

Maybe I'll just put him up high somewhere close to the parents that I can reach, and watch to make sure they come and accept him back and feed him
Yes, or take him home at night and put him in a high spot during the day.
