Even though i had no intention to cross between my indian fantail and saxon pouter....but as they choose each other, i thought i should give them the opportunity to do something new....here is the parents pair in the 1st picture given below....

This one is the last and my favorite one...i dont know what do u guys think...when i saw its coloration i was amazed:eek:....i dont know how its possible when none of their parents has checked feather...maybe it has something to do with its recessive allele....so thats it im not doing anymore crossing...their parents have already been separated....but i wanna know what do u guys think of it....any suggestion will be appreciated...thanks:D

I don't kno wwhat color that last one is.....somebody else here will chime in I am sure and/or post its photo in the genetics section. Neat looking bird. the second one is an ash red. Heaving recessive red (from the pouter parent apparently) underneath the ash red gives the bird a more blueish/muddy look........as I recently found out with my own birds.
